About Spark Academy

Helping children discover, develop, and grow into their gifts and calling.

Spark is a Christ-centered learning community committed to developing the gifts of the next generation through accessible after-school education in music, art, and technology—empowering students to walk confidently in their calling and glorify God in all they do.

Why Spark exists

Created to help as many children as possible.

Spark Academy is an initiative of Wildfire Church, created to help as many children as possible discover, develop, and grow into the gifts and calling God has placed on their lives through the arts and technology.

We believe that deeper, meaningful education should be accessible to every child, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. Our desire is to meet a real need in our community by providing high-quality, intentional instruction in an environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

The small-classroom model

More personal attention at a significantly lower cost.

To make this possible, Spark Academy uses a small-classroom model of just 3–7 students at a time. This allows students to receive more personal attention while helping us keep costs significantly lower than traditional private instruction. In fact, for a one-hour class, Spark costs less than one-third of what most private lessons cost.

Scholarships

Finances should not stand in the way.

We also believe that finances should not stand in the way of a child discovering and developing their God-given potential. Through the generosity of our sponsors, and Wildfire Church's missional commitment to our community, we are able to provide full and partial scholarships to many of our students.

Bigger than a skill

Investing in the next generation.

At Spark Academy, our goal is bigger than simply teaching a skill. We want to invest in the next generation—helping students develop their abilities, discover their purpose, and use the gifts God has given them to make an impact in their communities and beyond.
